The Range Rover Sport is a sleeker and sportier version of the classic Range Rover, designed for drivers who want a luxury SUV with a bit more oomph. With impressive power and performance capabilities, it’s no wonder the Range Rover Sport has become a popular choice in the luxury SUV market. Let’s take a closer look at some of its key features.
Design and Interior
From the outside, the Range Rover Sport looks similar to the standard edition, but it has a few key differences that set it apart. The roof spoiler is the largest on any Range Rover, and the front and rear are more curvaceous, giving it a sportier and more dynamic look.
Inside, the Range Rover Sport has the same dashboard and infotainment screen design as the standard Range Rover. The center console is slightly different, but overall it has the same luxurious feel. The infotainment system is good, although some areas of the cabin feel a bit cheaper than the standard Range Rover. However, overall, it’s a comfortable and stylish interior that you wouldn’t mind driving in every day.
Performance
The Range Rover Sport offers a range of engine options, including petrol, diesel, and hybrid engines. The range-topper is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can deliver 530hp, making it one of the most powerful engines in the SUV market. However, the plug-in hybrid is also a popular option, with a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six & electric motor delivering 510hp and the ability to travel up to 70 miles on electric power alone.
Driving Experience
On the road, the Range Rover Sport offers a smooth and comfortable ride, with impressive handling and excellent off-road capabilities. It’s a capable SUV that can tackle any terrain with ease, and the powerful engines give it plenty of oomph.
Price and Value
Starting at £80,000, the Range Rover Sport is definitely a luxury SUV that comes with a high price tag. However, when you consider the features and performance capabilities, it’s a solid investment that will last you for years to come. While it may be pricier than some of its competitors, like the Porsche Cayenne or BMW X5, the Range Rover Sport offers a unique blend of luxury, performance, and off-road capabilities that can’t be beaten.
Final Thoughts
So, is the Range Rover Sport the perfect car? It’s certainly an impressive SUV that offers a range of features and capabilities that will appeal to many drivers. If you’re looking for a luxury SUV that can handle any terrain with ease and offers plenty of power and performance, then the Range Rover Sport is definitely worth considering. However, if you’re looking for a more affordable option, or if you don’t need the off-road capabilities, then the standard Range Rover may be a better choice. Ultimately, the decision comes down to your individual needs and preferences, but the Range Rover Sport is definitely a luxury SUV that should be on your radar.
Range Rover v Range Rover Sport: Which would you choose?
Also the Infotainment sys looks like an iPad being suddenly placed in the middle of the car towards the end of designing…. It used to be integrated within , in the older design!!!
looks like the Discovery from the back, I still prefer the older design or the Big Range!!! the rear design is downgraded!
This thing looks like a Ford explorer and a Kia telluride merged together😂
At 80k this is a steal.. especially when it’s halves in price 4 years later 😂
What an Indian car 👍
Stubid Fuking Vehicle.
The King of Unreliability 👎

The problem with all this touchscreen business is that you can't use them with gloves and gloss surfaces suck.
And you'll see this nonsense on everything now — from the RS6 to the Range Rover.
Gloss surfaces are just fingerprint magnets and they make even the most expensive cars look gross. Why not just go for a matte finish?
Sad sacks of S###
I don't get it why everyone is talking about "reliability issues' I bought this range rover 1 month ago and it is giving me no problems at all and I also own a 2017 Vogue (My dad's car) and it still drives the same way we got it out of the showroom
Just some proper maintanence and no problems at all
Unfortunately range rover comes with poor engine reliability so it's better to have this car for a year or 2. After that it'll cost a lot to repair
Looks like a step backwards in every way, hmm.
I would say get over your height but you're probably too short. Just joking 👍
A product owned by an Indian🤓
RIP for those use perfect and Landover in the same sentence
Anything bri ish is perfect for the brits🤣🤣
Their are no problems with a RR unless you want to use it
This guy should have been picked as a new Top Gear presenter. He’s knowledgeable and entertaining, something Flintoff and McGuinness are missing in droves.
I am thinking to buy a 2nd hand Sport from 2011…
They are still a gem
These reviews are so addictive I enjoyed the whole video.
PLEASE any person with knowledge: WHAT SUV out of sport-driving ones, has the highest seating position? To my opinion it is actually the Range Rover Sport. But I could be wrong.
If a big Range Rover would have active stabilizers – I think it would be an absolute winner.
The looks good but…..
nahhh its not about the car its about the owner. ppl that own a rr don't take car there car. I have a rr evoque 2015 and the only that I had to change since I bought it was the wind shield motor cause I never change it
I like the old model for the exterior. I dont like this one.
Too many car wow ads
Suv king… a hahahahahahaha…
matt finally got an iphone
Still scared of the reliability of this brand. Walk away , oh no , Run!
Agree fully that the new design Range Rovers look great, especially when parked in your garage with good lighting. Just remember, do not drive it as it is so embarrassing sitting behind you car when it's on the tow truck and you are in a taxi watching it go away.
A few comments, starting from your conclusion. It's not as luxurious as the full Range Rover. Well, yes. It's not as expensive as the full Range Rover, either. Duh.
Land Rover has used the name "sport" to signify a smaller version. Range Rover Sport. Discovery Sport. If you want to thrash around in a sports car, get a sports car. My previous two cars were a Jaguar XF and an XE, and now I drive a Discovery Sport. When I got it, I knew I was getting a two-ton SUV, not a sports car.
Your annoyances? A thief can see that the car is unlocked? So can the person driving it. They can see that it's unlocked and, well, lock it.
On most cars, when you turn off the stop/start, it will default to "on" the next time you start the car. That's not just a Land Rover thing.
I don't know about you, but I rarely hold my key fob. There's not need; it stays in my pocket, because I don't need it for anything. I can lock/unlock the doors without it, I can open the boot without it. The only time I hold the key fob is when when I take it out of my pocket to change pants.
As a final note, I think it's a very good looking vehicle. I think the rear is much better looking than that of the new full Range Rover. If I had a spare $93,135, I'd just buy one (that's the cost of one configured with the options I'd like – and that wouldn't include soft close doors).
I rate matt rain snow thunder he’ll still give us Amazing content nothing can stop the king amazing job to Matt and carwow team wow
An absolutely perfect car for tow truck driver.
King in garage for maintenance and service 😫

I see on the road some ladies with cars like this, who need an airport to pass, an airport to park and three airports for u turn! Ah… and they never stop even for the laws of Physics!
I just handed mine back after 2 weeks. It was riddled with electrical problems. I will NEVER buy another. Total and utter RUBBISH
Don't need to watch the review. The answer is "No".
For me the most important test is always the „carwow stick of truth“.
Love it ❤
16:03 range rover owner and all that 😅
